Our days change as the work changes but the shape stays the same. We may do a field walk together and determine our priorities if we need to. If not we will jump right into harnessing the team and doing field work, or exercise if we can’t get into the field.
Other days we might be doing hand work in the field like planting, weeding, harvesting and packaging produce for weekly markets.
-
We recommend wearing weather appropriate clothing, close-toed shoes or boots, bring a water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, a snack if you have a long day ahead, and a notebook.
-
Often times we continue hand work in the rain, things like harvesting, transplanting or weeding can often continue. Our wash and pack process in indoors so that is unaffected. We always have some projects in the shop waiting for a rainy day and we keep a rolling list of admin tasks and recommended reading materials on hand.
