Farming with Draft Horses Series

With classes throughout the seasons, we hone in on farming practices with draft horses, including processes, tools, and equipment. Blending horticultural and driving principles, this is a great observation and discussion-based experience for folks at any experience level, or those simply interested in watching horses work.

Select Saturdays 3:00-5:00

Farming Intensive (Women Only)

The Farming Intensive is an eight-hour course designed for small groups. Participants will experience a wide range of farming processes, examine equipment, and drive the horses. This is perfect for women considering starting a draft-powered farm, or in the early stages of their farming journey. We have witnessed a need for women-led teaching, especially due to the physicality of this work. We aim to tailor our demonstrations and conversations to the needs of the group. We’ll close with a group discussion, making sure you have the resources you need for your next steps.
